Ibaraki prefecture is located in the northeast of Tokyo and faces the Pacific Ocean. In the city of Mito which is the prefectural office’s location, there is a famous Japanese garden Kairakuen. And, about 2 hours by express bus from Tokyo station, there is Hitachi Seaside Park. In this vast park, there are stunning flower gardens as seen in the photo above. Various flowers are blooming throughout the year.
