On a reclaimed land as vast as a baseball stadium, about 10 million poppies are planted. When I visited in mid-May, the poppies were in full bloom. The endless landscape of white, red, and pink flowers was simply breathtaking. In designated areas, you could also pick poppies.
The roadside station features a shop, a fishmonger, and a restaurant. At the fish shop, you can purchase fresh local fish.
In August, vast sunflower fields spread out, attracting many tourists who come specifically to see the sunflower fields.
