Highlights Kujyu Flower Park is a vast flower park located in Aso Kujyu National Park. Located on a highland plateau overlooking the Kujyu mountain range and the mountains of Aso, it is cooler and more refreshing than the flatlands. Five million flowers of 500 varieties bloom throughout the year. The park also has a general store and a store specializing in gelato. Camping is also available. The best months to visit are May and October, when you can enjoy vast fields of nemophila and poppies; in October, cosmos, begonias, and marigolds can be seen. The plateau has few artificial lights, so you can enjoy a wonderful starry sky at night.
